If you are an existing OpManager customer running OpManager with the default MySQL database, and now if you wish to use MSSQL, you can seamlessly migrate the entire data to MS SQL using the “DB Manager Tool” built into OpManager.

WAN Monitoring
OpManager's WAN Monitoring feature offers real-time visibility into the health of WAN links and routers. OpManager provides a special map for routers, enabling operators to monitor router interfaces without having to drill-down. OpManager monitors over 25 critical parameters on Cisco devices including CPU, memory statistics, buffer statistics etc.

Server Monitoring
OpManager offers advanced server monitoring functionality including monitoring of services and their response-times along with CPU, memory and disk utilization statistics of the servers. OpManager provides out of the box service monitoring for HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, LDAP, and DNS etc. and applications like Oracle, MySQL etc. OpManager also offers exclusive monitoring of MS-Exchange and MSSQL servers.

Switch Monitoring
OpManager's Switch Monitoring feature automatically discovers switches in your network and places them on a special switch map. All the switch ports are also discovered and intuitively placed on the map.

Using OpManager’s switch monitoring capability, operators can gain visibility into the status and availability of switch ports.

Printer Monitoring
OpManager automatically discovers and monitor printers in your network and places them on a special Printer map. The special printer icon offers a live view of the Printer and operators can view the status / error message actually displayed on the printer without leaving their desk. OpManager offers specialized printer monitoring functionality for any printer that supports the Printer MIB.

CPU, Memory and Disk Monitoring
OpManager monitors CPU, Memory and Disk Space utilization for any SNMP device using the Host Resource MIB and for non-SNMP devices using WMI, Telnet or OpenSSH. OpManager presents a slick Snapshot of the device, which shows the current CPU, Memory and Disk Utilization values using real-time gauges.

Fault monitoring
OpManager provides fault monitoring across networks, systems and applications. Fault Management capabilities include Event-alarm correlation, color-coded alarms, SNMP trap support and Email / SMS based notifications. Operators get useful alarm handling functionality like acknowledging alarms, Alarm suppression and alarm escalation rules. OpManager actively monitors networks, systems and applications and quickly raises alarms when an outage occurs. Using OpManager Fault Management functionality, operators can proactively identify and fix network degradation before end users are affected.

OpManager provides extensive Performance Monitoring functionality across networks, systems and applications. With real-time and historical performance monitoring covering utilization, availability, response times and accuracy, OpManager offers performance-monitoring functionality that is comprehensive, convenient and customizable.

Adaptive Management
Apart from supporting monitoring of various device, applications and services out-of-the-box, OpManager also enables adding new device or service types into the system.
